As a psychiatrist, I am committed to deeply understanding the whole person. With this goal in mind, I provide psychodynamic psychotherapy and as needed medication management to help my patients achieve meaningful change and relief. I am currently a psychoanalytic candidate with the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy + Psychoanalysis. My background in the arts and humanities informs my overall approach, which is dedicated to understanding the complexity of human experience and creating a collaborative space for open-mindedness, curiosity, and compassion. I welcome individuals of all backgrounds, races, ethnicities, religions, genders, and sexual orientations.
I earned my B.A. in visual art and art history from Columbia University. I then received my medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. I completed psychiatry residency training at Western Psychiatric Hospital at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where I served as Chief Resident for Education.
