Initial evaluation is to establish long-term care. This appointment includes reviewing your reason(s) for seeking care, psychiatric and medical histories, setting up goals for treatment, and developing a collaborative treatment plan. The initial evaluation will take a different form based on whether an individual is seeking medication management, psychotherapy, or both.

Follow-up visits focus on: furthering diagnostic clarity; monitoring an individual’s response to medication; reviewing treatment goals and assessing for any indication for changes in medication. These visits are generally every 1-3 months for routine medication checks.

Weekly appointments that focus on psychotherapy. The frequency of therapy is most often 1 - 3 sessions per week, which will be determined collaboratively.
